Roc-A-Natural, a natural hair, health and beauty initiative teamed up with Bronx Healing on Sunday, October 11, 2015 to present a Natural Healing and Wellness event from 11:00am-5:00pm at The Waverly Courtyard, Staten Island, NY 10304.
The event, the Roc-A-Natural "H.O.T.S" Heal Ones Total Self-Health and Wellness Pavilion: A Day of Healing on Staten Island was designed to empower and educate the community about natural and holistic healing. To assist with the transformational needs of our attendees, Roc-A-Natural and Bronx Healing garnered the sponsorship support of The Vitamin Shoppe, 2535 Richmond Avenue, Legacy Africana Market, 691 Bay Street and Komari Bath & Body, Staten Island.
Upon entering the healing gates, guests were offered a sample cup of Roc-A-Natural Detox Water (recipe can be found on the Roc-A-Natural website,
www.rocanatural.com) to begin the detoxification process. Next up, guests could learn the benefits of Kangen Alkaline Water by Thelma Kingsale, have a Reiki session with Nichole James of Embracing The Energy, enjoy Foot Reflexology with Deanna Hope-Felix of LifeSpring Rejuvenation Center, relax with Earthly Treasures Massage Therapy with Walter Canty, partake of information on holistic healing, have a personal coaching session with Oriolla Wedgewood, and delicious vegetarian fare with Adio of Praises Enterprises.
Artisans on hand, included Abena Anum, Bronx Holistic, Nichole Eloise of Eloise Enterprises, Latoya Dawson with Natural Bath and Body Products by Tranquility Soaps, and RJ's Accessories by Renee Jordan.
Roc-A-Natural School House Rock was in session with Educators, Rodney Salomon of Konscious Market, who spoke on "Meditation and Our Chakras"; Tiffanie Perea, "Healthy Nutrition", Oriolla Mary Wedgeworth, "Coming Changes".
Suzette Turner, Skin Care Consultant provided tips and samples on How to Hydrate Your Skin.

Lisa Howard...On Sunday October 11, 2015, I attended the H.OT.S. event hosted by Roc-A-Natural in Collaboration with Bronx Healing at the Waverly Mansion. The courtyard and basement were converted to accommodate health and wellness providers, vendors and presenters. We received gift bags sponsored by The Vitamin Shoppe, give-a-ways, facials, reflexology, massages, soaps samples and so much more! The food by Praises Enterprises was healthy, delicious and affordable. The seminars and presentations were educational and my favorite, Deanna Hope-Felix, the reflexologist... OMG!!!! Kudos to Roc-A-Natural for putting together such a wonderful event! I look forward to the next H.O.TS. event."
