When Should You Eat Your Fruit?
The best time to eat your fruit is on an empty stomach. If you eat fruit on an empty stomach, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities. You should NEVER eat your fruit after your meal due to causing of blockage in your intestines. Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit, the slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so due to the blockage of the bread. This is true of pasta, meat etc. The whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.
It is highly recommended that you eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! I know you have heard many of people complain "every time I eat water-melon, I burp"; "when I eat fruit from Asia with a foul smell, yet delicious flavor, my stomach bloats up"; "when I eat a banana, I feel like running to the toilet", etc.
You can prevent this issue, if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying of other foods and produces gas and hence you will bloat! There are some unsupported claims that graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes, will not happen if you eat your fruits on an empty stomach.
Try my breakfast recipe I enjoyed this morning:
Bowl of fresh fruit- 1 Orange, peeled and separated, 1 green Apple chopped, 1 Kiwi, chopped, 1 green pear, chopped and handful of blueberries with homemade fruit dipping sauce. Delicious!
Fruit Dipping Sauce:
Handful of Golden Raisins
1/2 cup of Raw Honey
Fresh squeezed lemon juice from 1 lemon
1 Tablespoon of peanut butter(almond butter can be substituted)
Pure vanilla extract(to taste)
Agave nectar(to taste)
Blend all ingredients in your juicer or food processsor until smooth.
